My laptop keeps shutting off loosing power in a moments notice with the power plugged in from AC adapter . Battery went dead a month ago i have taken the battery out , so now just plugged in would this cause this problem . Should i start considering a new laptop the one that i currently have is approaching the 4 year mark .
