Anyone have any thoughts on a leather vs. nylon for a nato strap? Any practical reason to pick one over the other as long as the leather is oiled and waterproofed? The watch would NOt be used for swimming or diving, but it may get wet from time to time (rain, washing dishes, hands, etc.). Aside from the fact that leather looks better (IMO) i figured a leather nato could be used as an emergency strop to sharpen a knife in a pinch. However, nylon seems like it would last longer?
