I haven’t seen any mention of this Leatherman bit set that I have, but I’m sure most of you are aware of it, or have one. I can’t remember where I bought this. It seems to not fit on my ST300, but I remember it fitting nicely on a previous 4 1/2″ tool. It fits my PST better also.
I carried this on my belt for a while, but found it to be too much baggage for what benefit it gave me. From what I see on the Leatherman site, and in this forum and elsewhere, this tool kit is long forgotten, and is not a part of the EDC culture, as the newer bit cards are.
As you can see, it has a lanyard hole, if you want to carry it on your keychain.
I think that Leatherman has improved on this product, and there are better options now. This is obviously a discontinued product. I don’t think I will ever carry it, but it is a part of Leatherman history, and is valuable to me for that reason.
What do you think? Do you like the current offerings, or would you rather have this?
