My mother took a fall today, and my father and brother have gone with her to A&E. Pretty sure she’ll be ok but she’s gone in to be checked out anyway due to her medical history. Luckily she was at my brothers at the time and his girlfried is a nurse.

The issue is that she is getting to the stage where falls could a) become more often and b) do more harm. Obviously my thoughts were what if she was out shopping on her own (which she is still capable of) and something similar happened. She has an extensive list of ailments, conditions and medications and a standard ID tag would probably need to be on wheels ;-P

What options are there for equipping somone with recognised and accepted ICE details which:
    a) is recognised and accepted i.e. attending medics would actually look for, recognise and use
    b) can be updated easily as her meds (etc) change
    c) can hold extensive information as to meds, doses and conditions (history) can be identified easily
    d) she would actually wear!!!

Bear in mind the amount of info is quite high, so standard small tags would maybe not work, but I don’t think USB type items are actually used by paramedics/ambulance crews over here

    Thanks for your help guys
