Like the subject says – i’m trying to find a battery to go in my kit that could charge all my devices several times. An example I used to do when camping was take a car battery, and car chargers for my devices. I knew the battery was that high capacity that I could keep all my devices fully charged for a week of camping. Obviously due to the size of a car battery, this is not ideal to carry in my BOB. Also, my devices all can charge from 5v USB, so stepping down 12v -> 5v is clearly inefficient.

Ive seen “solar chargers” available with inbuilt batteries to charge usb devices, however the capacities of said batteries is very low (ie 950mAh), because they have to be able to charge from a low current solar panel in a reasonable length of time.

I guess i’m looking for a “beefed up” version of those little solar chargers, but without the solar panel ;D something no bigger than a house brick would be nice. (some site says: “Bricks normally measure 215 x 102.5 x 65mm (8.5 x 4 x 2.5in) but can vary from brick to brick.”)

I know that all probably made no sense whatsoever, but feel free to ask more questions and ill reply asap!

EDIT: oh, and my electronics expertise isnt bad, so just a plain battery would be fine – it doesnt need to be a ready made solution
