KeymasterHi All,
Firstly thank you in advance for reading this and for your valuable time & knowledge it’s highly appreciated.
I’ve used the search function and had a good read around but still need advice please.1) Short Essay Question: What do you intend to use this light for?
I’ve just sadly lost my ITP Ro1 after 5 years, super trusty robust service.
I have a nitecore ea11 which never leaves my side for close up stuff and general use but I always had the ITP for car work, trips out chucked in the car or bag,the family always knew it was charged and ready at any time, that thing went up mountains ,into caves, canoeing ,
It seemed to preform well above the spec list,I was almost emotionally attached lolReplacement wise In priority order I’m after a USB standard microport rechargable long throw that’s durable and waterproof in holster size.
Brand wise I’m easy2) What Region/Country/State will the light be purchased in?
[ ] I will be mail-ordering or buying online, so this doesn’t matter.
[ ] I am in _______(country) and __________(state/providence).
I’m in the UK3) Price Range: An easy question, but you may change your mind after answering the rest! :broke:
[ ] $80-$120
The £50 mark would be ideal but I wil stretch to £100 100 (? 72-144 usd I think )4) Format:
PART A
[ ] I want a flashlight.Flashlight
PART B
Length:
Holster length
But I’m easyPART C
Width:
[ ] I prefer a long narrow light.
I prefer a narrow light but no priorityPART D
Weight:
[ ] Medium light, about the weight of a AAA MiniMag
[ ] Medium, slightly heavier than a AA MiniMagLighter then better but not a concern or a priority
5) What kind of “bulb”.
[ ] Don’t care, just want the best fit for my needs.
I’m easy6) What batteries do you want to use?
[ ] I want a rechargeable system. (an investment, but best for everyday use)
I’d prefer rechargable via standard micro USB port and I’d like the light to have an easily replaceable battery.7) How much light do you want? Sometimes you can have too much light (trying to read up close up with a 100 lumen light is impossible).
[ ] I want to light an entire campground or dazzle an intruder. (100+ lumens)
I want to light up a camp ground or dazzle an intruder8) Throw vs Flood:
Throw9) Runtime:
[ ] 60-240 min. (1-2 hours)Longer the better but if USB I can recharge on the go so not a big priority maybe 1-2 hours so I can get a job done
10) Durability:
[ ] Critical (Police, Fire, Search & Rescue, Self-defense, Survival.)
It’s going to be my companion so I need to be able to depend upon it in any situation11) Switch Type:
[ ] I don’t care.
Prefer Clicky but I don’t mind12) Switch Location:
No pref
13) Operational Modes: Check all that apply.
I’m easy14) Is it important whether the body is metal or plastic/composite?
[ ] I don’t care.
No concerns15) Special Needs:
[ ] Waterproof –Waterproof for a short dunk or prolonged outdoor use in the rain
Thanks again
