(RANT ON) I’m really getting the irits with MaxP randomly discontinuing what seem to be perfectly good products with no explanation and no apparent replacement. The line quietly disappears from their website, and goes to perpetual ‘backorder’ on reseller sites. Alternative brands are hard to get here in Australia as many smaller US suppliers won’t ship internationally. (RANT OFF).
I’m becoming more heavily involved with emergency work and outdoor rescue, and right now I need a better solution for field notes. I want to trial Rite In The Rain notebooks, and I want proper covers for them to protect them and keep things together.
Maxpedition have recently, apparently, discontinued their 3×5″ and field note covers to just leave the 4×6 option. Nice work on customer choice guys. Perhaps you can discontinue that as well and really make life easy for yourselves
Oh, and while I’m at it, how about some brighter colour options for small, important things that are at risk of being dropped or left behind? We aren’t all wannabe camo ninjas you know.
Please, steer me towards some quality alternative suppliers, I’m sick of sending so many dollars MaxP’s way only to be treated like an inconvenience.
