Maxpedition Kodiak Gearslinger

I ordered a Maxpedition Kodiak Gearslinger, should have it Saturday. Pretty much every bag I’ve ever tried has some sort of shortcoming that I couldn’t overcome. I’m hoping I like this one. I’ve seen some accessories sold for it and I’ve seen a few mods/ideas of what people have done to the Kodiak to make it work for them.

I plan on using it for work, to carry my lunch, tablet, not too much for work. But I also like to have a few things I might need at anytime, FAC, multitool and other small tools, knife, etc. I may use it for hiking, shorter day hike where I don’t take my backpack.

Any thoughts or hints or tricks that you’ve used? Anything to make it easier, more convenient to use? Ways to better organize it? Just ideas on how you use yours? Any accessories that might be a must have or even a nice to have item?

I ordered a concealed carry sleeve with it, but that’s all. Thanks for any ideas or suggestions. Let me know anything about it, I’m partly just bored so thought I’d start this discussion
