Hey there!
I’ll admit, I’m not a “flashlight guy” – I just tend to gravitate towards things that I keep for a long, long time. I’m an RN/nurse practitioner student, looking for an exam penlight that I’ll have for hopefully a while. High CRI and a click switch is a must.
I like the idea of the high-CRI version of the Preon 2 for the multiple modes, would come in handy for throat illumination as well as pupillary checks, but a non-QTC Peak Eiger looks pretty interesting, too. I hear the ordering process for a custom Peak light can be pretty tedious, though.
For anyone that has a Preon 2, how have you found the anodizing to be holding up? I’d hate to spend $50 on a light to have it totally scratched up in a year.
Thanks!
