I was not really sure where to post this. Mods: Please move it if there is a better place.
Mikhail Kalshikov died today, December 23rd. 2013 at age 94. I don’t think I have to tell you who he was and what he contributed to small arms design in the 20th. century.
From what I read and saw about him in documentaries he was a self-taught engineering genius and a very humble man. I would have loved to share a drink or two with him over his lifes stories.
