to start of with i know why a lot of poeple hate gerber so i don’t want to hear about it i know about bear grylls and about the quality and i know about fiskars so please don’t psot long stories about that i’ve heard them all.
i’m getting a military issue gerber mp600 multitool.
i know gerber doesn’t have the best quality and i’m a huge leatherman fani own a couple of leathermans, but i do like trying out other stuff and i wanted to give the mp600 a try just for fun and playing around with it.
i always have 2 mt’s on me so the gerber will replace whatever i carry as a backup, at the moment i like to carry my swisstool spirit s on my belt becuase i also got that new and when i get something new i always carry it for 2 weeks to try it out and then rotate it with my other geari rotate through my leathermans and other mt’s so i rarely carry the same stuff every day.
when i get the mp600 i’ll carry it on my belt next to the swisstool for 2 weeks to get used to it.
i couldn’t resist getting the military issue mp600 becuase i love military stuff and i love knives and mt’s so that’s why i’m even more excited.i do have some questions about the mp600.
– although it’s a military issue i still want to know does it hold up good, becuase my dad thought it would break over time due to the constant wrist flicking, he thinks it will damage and wear out the mechanism and break over time?– i’ve also heard on the internet that the mp600 philips driver fits the leatherman bit extender that’s made for the leatherman rebar and supertool 300 is it true?
whenever i buy something i don’t expect anything from it untill i’ve tested it and it works like it should that’s why i have these questions
