KeymasterRight guys, this is my kit that I keep in the back of my car.
It consists of a basic trauma management kit, along with a few bits to assist in rescue and signalling.
My medical skills and training are enough to teach me how to keep someone alive until proper medics can get to the scene. This includes BLS, dealing with catastrophic haemoraghing (including trying to deal with amputation/blast wounds), basic burns, and other trauma – basic battlefield first aid.
This is what its contained in: Its an UK PLCE Osprey Mk4 Ammunition/Grab Bag in MTP.
Its a relatively small messenger-style pack, designed mainly to be a ‘bug out bag’ from a vehicle if it is taken out, but is perfect to fit in the boot of the car as a medical pouch. It has three M4/L85A2 magazine pouches on the front, two grenade pouches on the side, and a smoke grenade pouch on the other end. It also features a large internal pouch, with a velcro-secured lid. Within this lid is a velcro-covered slit, that would normally allow you to quickly throw spent magazines into the main compartment.
So, I will start from the three pouches at the bottom, moving from left to right.
