So I’m picking up new carry weapons in the next couple weeks and I’ve come to realize I need to have a few weapon options for different situations.
In addition to my EDC Kahr CM9, I’m picking up a pocket .380 for the times when I need something even smaller. I’d Love to get the P380 but it’s too rich for my blood right now so After checking out the LCP, P3AT, and Taurus TCP, I’m leaning towards the Taurus. Great bang for my buck and after a nice Fluff and buff should perform quite nicely. The main reason is the trigger is much smoother and after being used to the great Kahr trigger that’s important for me. However, I could be persuaded toward one of the other .380’s if I found the right deal with a laser.
That Said, I have a small EDC bag that is with me or in my truck and if I’m carrying the .380 I’ll also have a bigger gun. For that I’m seriously considering the new Springfield Armory XDs in .45acp!! I just LOVE the gun…Single stacks fit my hands best as they are on the smaller side and I’ve been lusting after a .45 I could carry in a Supertuck if I wanted and leave in my EDC bag.
So it looks like my daily carry guns will be either my CM9 or a pocket .380 with the .45 close by in my bag. I feel comfortable with this solution but my wife thinks it’s overboard. LOL Anyone else carrying multiple guns daily NOT in law enforcement or Military? I’m just a regular dude but I like the idea of being prepared.
