Nano vs LED Lenser K1L. A quick & dirty comparison.

Got my Nano… figured I’d post a quick photo comparison.

First… size difference. Nano’s got the edge on size

BUT, with the gate clip, the nano hangs a little lower.

Beam difference. Nano has a wider beam… slightly brighter, too.

I like the little ring of light around the end of the LED Lenser. Nice if you need just a touch of ambient lighting in a small area, but that comes at the cost of size.

Broken down you can see the differences in design. The body of the LED Lenser is just a tube but with a ridge to hold the batteries back. You can twist the light off and the batteries stay inside until you unscrew the backside end cap.

In the end I think the Nano gets the nod. I may consider polishing it or giving it a nice brushed aluminium finish since I’m sure the black coating will start wearing off eventually.

So yeah, that’s about it. Got the Nano today so I was just comparing the two.

I wonder if the body of the LED Lenser will turn gold if I bake it
