Well, my supplies finally arrived and I’m pretty much done building up my first aid kits. I made two, one to live in my truck and one to toss in my backpack while hiking etc.

The big one I designed to keep in my truck and cover 95% of the scenarios I may run into while on the go. It’ll cover camping mishaps, motor vehicle accidents, and whatever else happens to come up. The bag is an LA Police Gear Bail Out bag.

The little one I designed with my own personal outdoors activities in mind. It’s set up for ouchies that might happen while hunting, shooting, fishing, hiking etc.

I’m a certified Level 3 industrial medic (one step below paramedic) and my dad is a career fire fighter. He helped me tailor the two kits to my needs and tweak them based on both our combined experience. Everything is packed in zip-loc bags to help with organization and to keep things clean and dry.

I plan to add a few more items to each kit as I go along. I also intend to get a better bag for the small kit. The current one is a little bit too small. I’ve already sourced one from Mountain Equipment Co-Op.

    Anyways, first pics, then lists:
