I apologize in advance if this has been covered. Sought but did not find…
I’m putting together a vehicle FAK for a friend and would like to include some instructions on how to take proper care of the basics: cuts, burns, sprains, blisters, stings, bites, etc. You know, the maladies one is most likely to encounter.
I keep a copy of “Comprehensive Guide to Wilderness and Travel Medicine” (Eric Weiss, MD, 2012) in my kit, but I’m looking for something more basic that one could refer to quickly, maybe with nice, simple illustrations and “do this/don’t do this other thing” instructions. It would be nice if it were in booklet form or maybe a series of bound and indexed cards.
Anyone have such a thing that has come in handy in the past?
edit: sorry for the redundant thread title, not fully caffeinated yet
