Need a way to carry Small tools with sharp edges or pointed ends

I am looking for a way to carry a few tools-5 inches long or less-that would possible damage a backpack or pouch. I use some small pick/hook devices and hemostats that have pointed ends and/or sharp edges.

I am thinking a small hard side case but not sure where to look. Something like a pelican box but in miniature. I would like it to be fairly lightweight with decent durability. The box would ride in a small pack-possibly a Tarahumara or similar. Something that would not accidentally come open in the pack. It would be great if this carrying device had some small Velcro straps or elastic keepers of some type. Color not terribly important.

I appreciate any suggestions.
