Need help with digital camera please

Hi. I have never had a quality camera of any kind. I’m a new member here, and I want to post pictures that look decent (better that with my phone). I just realized that I can now ask for input from the members here and probably save myself hours of searching.

What digital cameras do you use to post good looking close-ups of your gear?

edit – the thread “any-photography-nerds-whats-your-kit” are mostly talking film – and over my head…
