Started doing windshields about a year ago, give or take, and ive gone threw 3 pairs of boots in that time.
Not because ive worn out the souls, not because they fall apart, but because I need a safety toe and inevitably will wear the outer material down to the toe cap from using them to keep from putting old windshields on the ground or lifting them to avoid cutting up my hands.
Ideally the toe would have a safety cap on the outside, or be reinforced some how.
So, requirements in a nut shell –
<$250 (somewhat flexible, but I dont want to buy a $360 pair of danners for work)
Steel/composite toe
8-10″ height
Fiberglass shank preferred
stupid durable
