new charge questions

so as many of you probably know i recently purchased a charge ti. fantastic tool. really like it, but i cant stand the sheath. long story short, it takes way too much force to get it and my flashlight which is housed in the side pockets in and out of the sheath. with my wave its almost effortless, which is ideal for me. my question is: is it just because its new and not broken in yet or is it just a bad sheath. which of the leather sheaths would suit my needs more if its just a bad sheath?

also the blades open very smoothly and have some play on the travel. is this normal for a charge or do i need to come up with some security bits to tighten it down?
