OK, so I ruined my eagletac D25A by stripping out the holes for the pocket clip screws. That leaves me in need of a new light. Here are the requirements:
Clicky (preferably rear)
Moonlight (somewhat negotiable)
Neutral tint or high cri (preferably a Nichia 219)
AA or AAA batteries (maybe cr123 if I found the perfect light)
Not much larger than the eagletac in diameter (I’m going to be pretty solid on this)
At least 100 lumens (ideally closer to 200, or more)I think that’s it. Just so you all know. I have a preon p2 with nichia 219 that I love, but it comes on in my pocket too easy. I have an L3 L10 with nichia 219, but the ui doesn’t work for me. I have a zebralight sc52w that I’m going to try and force myself to like, but it’s just a bit big at the head. The eagletac was pretty close to perfect except that it was a bit sub par in terms of build quality.
With my tax return on the way I can afford to do something nice, but anything I don’t spend on this light I can put towards a firearm.
Let me know your suggestions.
