I do my log sheets at work in pencil . I have use a papermate stainless steel pencil at work with .7 mm lead . At home I have moved from a pen and have been using a pentel sharp with .9 mm lead. I wanted something with a little more heft . After looking around I found Monteverde tool mechanical pencil. It definitely got some weight to it. it is .9 lead twist advance has ruler and scales on the flats and a stylus . I like the twist advance for the lead and having a stylus a lot . The note book under it is a moleskine cashier journal
By the way there is a small phillips and straight bit under the stylus
