Hi Everyone,
I’ve been working on a new keychain tool, and wanted to run it by you all to see what you think. I originally named it the AK47 because I thought it resembled one in profile. As soon as I began to sell a few, I was told that Paypal might have a problem with that title, and decided to change it. It’s now referred to as the Moai after the monolithic stone statues of Rapa Nui (Easter Island).
I’ve been making them out of G10, which I think is an amazing medium to work with, and it’s unbelievably tough, light, and easy to care for. I just began making them out of titanium and am working on several different finishes including scotchbrite, beadblast, and annodized. I selling them via my website (in my sigline) currently, to keep it simple (I’m new to this
), but will eventually make them available here and maybe on a couple of the other big forums.titanium prototype; current version is much thicker
