So, I’ve been on the hunt for a Glock 10mm. The G20 or G29…either one.
Yesterday, I found a G29 at a pawn shop. They were asking $529 for it. It is in great shape, included two 10 round mags, box, and a cheap uncle mikes nylon holster.
I tried to work some magic and whipped out $300 cash. That didn’t work but they came down to $480. I showed them some prices on a couple of big internet auction sites. The came down again but to only $450. I came up to $350. They paused a bit, looked in their computer to figure out their cost and profit %. They said, it’s been really slow today. The best we can do is $400 out the door (taxes and call in included).
I did some quick math and at 7% sales tax, that means roughly $365 plus tax and call in. I still pushed for a little more. I said, if you throw in those 2 G30 mags, you have a deal.
Done deal. G29 with 2 mags plus 2 more mags for my G30’s.
