As stated in a previous thread I recently started open carrying but I was wondering. If my short partially covers the firearm is it still open carrying or is it considered concealed. Granted in not wearing big baggy clothes. typical daily attire is jeans and a button down work shirt but typically the side of my shirt drapes down over top of it. So is this considered concealed or open carry?
Edit:as stated more than once. I plan to conceal after a permit is aquired. I asked a few officers. And the best advice I got was “it was a judgement call on the part of the officer. But it’s better to not take a chance.” I know it’s a stupid question but I also know that I some areas it’s different and that I’m definitely not the first person to have the question. Also as stated I knew it was a stupid question and I had a pretty good idea of the answer but I felt the need to ask and make sure so I ad other newbies have a definitive answer. Because where most of you see this as common sense someone who just recently started carrying doesn’t. And again, I plan to conceal once I get the proper permits. It’s just going to be 1-1.5 months before that happens and I don’t want to be unarmed while I wait for a card in the mail
