I am in the market for (or my christmas list is anyway) a new casual watch, and I really like the look of the field watch/ military watch style. I have a Timex Weekender which is on that order, but is regulated to a beater watch that I do most of my shooting in. I am looking for something a little more overtly masculine/military. I am thinking canvas or brown leather band, and analog all the way. I was looking at Seiko 5 with a canvas strap, Fossil 54 Aviator, Fossil Grant Chronograph, Citizen Strap Eco 180, etc. Anyone have any experience with those? Any others that you recommend? Photos welcome!
P.S. Hamiltons are cool, but WAY out of my price range.
