Hey everyone, I recently purchased a Nagatac Evo peanut lighter off an Australian seller over here called “Fusion Gear AU”.
I received the lighter a few days ago and thought I would do a review as there is not as much information on this brand out on the web.
Overall I am really happy with this lighter. It came with a spare wick, flints and a spare o-ring to help retain fluid.
The body is a high quality stainless steel and the base is flattened slightly so it can be used as a candle quite easily.
The insert is of decent quality, it holds a fair amount of fluid. It fits snugly into the body and is still easy to remove for filling.
It can be a bit fiddly to strike and use but over all it is great and I am happy with it.Only problem is that it never wants to light. If im lucky it might light on the 30th or so flick. But most of the time it never ends up lighting.
I have done everything I can possibly think of including different wick heights, different wick, making the wick neat or pressing on it so its splayed out, different flints, increased spring tension, different lighter fluids, completely soaking the whole insert in lighter fluid, cleaning the flint wheel, trying burnt wicks, new wicks, Ive tried everything.
Does anyone have the same problem and has anyone fixed it ? I would really appreciate it
