I know I’m not going to find this in the Pen Refill Compatibility thread, so…
The employer gave our entire division some pen/lights and pocket notebooks to try to get us more organized (Good luck!) for a particular task. The pen/lights are kinda’ cool and we had a few kits left over after everyone got one, so I snatched them up.
Press down on the led and it toggles on – off. The yellow thing is just a shipping retainer.
They’re reasonably well made. At least, everything’s threaded so it comes apart. The led module has a couple of LR41 (alkaline) batteries. They can be replaced with 384s (silver oxide) for better shelf life.
Here’s the problem. The pen cartridge is small and won’t last long. Anyone know of a cheap pen refill that can be cut down to replace the one in this photo?
I was thinking of giving them away to people I know who currently carry pretty much nothing so at least they’d have a pen and a light. I’d like to include some replacement batteries and ink cartridges so they’d have no excuse to toss it to one side once the light or pen stops working.
