KeymasterHah, small world. API 510, 570, 653, & AWS CWI myself. I’m an Ops Manager for an inspection company in the Rockies now, but when I was still hitting the road hard as an inspector it was a RedOxx PR6 with my personal clothes and FR pants/shirts, a Tactical Tailor Enhanced Duffle for my inspection gear (harness, hardhat, Arctic Gear, flashlights, tools, etc), and either an old Oakley Mechanism pack or the other Brain Bag I used to have.

KeymasterJust got this last week, moved stuff from my synapse 19 to check it out. I also received a Freudian slip for the 19 so I’m still considering going back to it, it’s size is PERFECT for EDC, but the 25 allows you to stow away some things you might acquire on a journey, which is a huge plus. Time will tell.

KeymasterThat Opal is pretty sweet looking — wish they still made something like that. Just enough organization to be useful, but not overkill. Their current offerings look like something out of a sci-fi movie. :p

KeymasterReplaced my Geigerrig hydration bag for a more useful and organized TAD Fastpack EDC and absolutely love it. It’s my edc bag as well as my hydration/hiking bag. had to get clips to control my tubes but am happy with the outcome.

KeymasterI used this bag in Rome last week:
The books, MBP and Ducktape were not part of the setup.Worked pretty well and was probably looking so cheap, that nothing was stolen from it. Large enough to keep my camera (if not needed, which was seldom), a bottle of water, a pouch with an extra lens, binoculars, my glasses, contact lens fluid, journal, pens and other tidbits. Still, I want a bag that’s a little bigger.

KeymasterMy newest bag, i use it to carry my essentials: small water bottle, tissues, sunglasses, mobile charger, USB stick, calendar, pen, cleaning cloth for phone and glasses, sea to summit grocery bag, a small fixed blade and multitool.

KeymasterLooks like the Tatonka Check In, is it? Do you have pictures loaded with your stuff? Have been looking at it but wondering if it is big enough. You say even a small water bottle fits in it? 0,5 liter plastic bottle?
Thanks in advance!
