KeymasterWhat is that item you have strapped into the pals in the middle of the bag between the carabiners? Looks interesting…

KeymasterJust got my 5.11 rush 24 in and switched all my gear over 🙂 I love it, now I just need to swap all the zipper pulls with red reflective paracord as well as wrap the grab handle. I will post an update picture when I am done. I kinda wish it had more spots for patches though that’s the only disappointment.

KeymasterIt’s a tactical gear clip. I use it to secure a larger flashlight from time to time.

KeymasterThe inside is padded
I can fit my Nexus 7 and 18oz Hydro Flask with a little room for my shades and whatnot
That’s the most it can cinch but the top cover has side flaps when clipped
The zippered pocket has a sewn on mesh that feels like it’ll rip easily on the long run but the pocket it self is pretty spacious
Front pocket can fit my iPhone 6 plus
Side view with the top down. Looks pretty secure
Nicely stitched MOLLE
The back side with my S biner tucked in the back pocket. The tac ties are sewn on and actually block the pocket itself
Tac ties tucked making the pocket now accessible
Front side with the S biner attached to a small loop made for……attaching an S biner I guess
Grab handle is sturdy as wellSo far I’m starting to like this bag. The only problem I had was downsizing from a sling bag and figuring out which items I felt I needed to carry for my EDC into this bag. First world EDC problems I guess…

KeymasterThat pouch is very similar like the Maxpedition Toadstool.
I use that for my reflex

KeymasterUsing my 10l bullet as a work bag. It’s much more comfortable than my knife bag, which is still comfortable.

KeymasterGot my MR ASAP last week but I didn’t get to post pics of it then since it was immediately pressed into service for a trip to a job interview and the week never slowed down after that. So without further ado, here’s the bag that *might* be my perfect EDC bag.

on FlickrTop lid pocket. This is the one thing I would change about the pack. If it had some organization to keep the basic pens, knife, flashlight, and multitool from banging around, this bag would be perfect. For now I’ve got a Maxpedition pocket organizer in there, but I may come up with a more permanent solution in the future.

KeymasterI’ve looked at the ASAP for so long. Even ordered one then canceled the next day. Your pics ( especially top pocket ) really make me regret it. My concern is the length of it. I keep buying litespeeds for small bag outings because it’s 22 in long so it fits me perfectly. Any have a pic of the two side by side?

KeymasterSo funny story. I originally wanted to get one of the second gen Litespeeds since I just sold my first gen Litespeed so I could get one. Even though I checked my email constantly for the TAD newsletter, I still missed the last batch of Litespeeds by about five minutes due to one of life’s many distractions. Ended up buying the ASAP instead because I didn’t want to wait around for the next batch since the wait can be notoriously long. Turned out I would’ve only had to wait until this weekend, but the Litespeed is waaaaaaaaaaaay down on my wishlist now. Yes, the ASAP is that much better. So I guess I should thank TAD for all their shenanigans to control supply and demand .

KeymasterYou are killing me! I just bought a new never used gen 1 litespeed to replace the old beat up one I sold a week ago. I won’t use it often because I just really like my EDC but there are times it’s just too bulky ( on flights in museums at Disney etc) it’s the 5 th one I’ve owned. I keep selling them because they are a bit expensive to just live in the closet 50 weeks a year. But I always regret selling them. So I promised the wife I would keep this one.

KeymasterUh I hate to do this to you but. . . if you’re looking for a streamlined pack for light loads, the ASAP is it :p
