KeymasterI like cheap bags but with good proportions and works! How much?

KeymasterMy finger just floating above the “buy” button but then its back ordered and no sale. The photo also looks smaller than the 22″ tall described, is it really this tall? I’m only 5’6″ and 20″ is the max for my frame.

KeymasterIt was a bit tall side but I am 5′ 10″ and it fits me perfectly. I’ll get some more pictures posted up a little later.

KeymasterI still use a LAPG Molle bag as my main just cause everything I need in there fits perfectly. (btw, it’s like a $15 bag that I have used daily for about two years or more) and also have a R12 that is getting used less
But,
The wife got me this one from Auger Strauss & Co. and I use it for all that other stuff I can’t fit in the Molle bag.

Pretty nice messenger type but it is “floopy” I keep my extra gloves and other various non needed on a daily basis stuff.
The inside is one big open area, it does have a narrow pocket with a zipper along back of the inside area
Nicely made with great snaps and buckles

KeymasterThe front flap unzips and can be stowed to reveal hook and loop as well as some webbing. There are also hooks on the flap to attach to use it as extra stuff pocket.

The back panel unzips to reveal two large hook and loop panels so you can attach various accessories. the red zipper that is mostly covered by the strap unzips so you can put a ballistic plate if so desired.
Unzip the top of the bag to for a little organization and a place to attach a bladder.
Fully unzipped. A few mesh pouches, there is a lap top sleeve holds my 15.1 inch lap top just fine.
There are two pockets on either side of the bag that hold small water bottles, note a 32 oz nalgene will not fit! Behind the water bottle pockets are a zipper pocket with more organization but if you use them you lose the ability to store the water bottles.

KeymasterThat is a great looking bag. I thought I was done trying out bags for a while. That bag has made me rethink that.

KeymasterI kinda felt the same way before I seen this one. The reason I liked this bag was it is a great blend of a tactical style bag and a light weight day pack. It does not have all the benefits of either one, but as you can see it is got great organization and you can add any number of hook and loop accessories to either the main or back compartment. It also is very well built and while codura is not as tough as some of the heavier nylon it is tough enough to use as an edc. It is very comfortable and feels light on your back, far more so then any tactical pack I own. I am considering also getting the gamut plus which I believe is 10 liters larger for longer trips.

KeymasterSeveral of us have these and like myself find them both huge and yet unable to carry big enough loads somehow?
Of course some are satisfied with them too but there seems to be some consensus that they are not exactly as they seem.
I was crazy for the concept but so far have not been able to travel with ine as I had planned,it is just too cramped inside.YMMV

KeymasterIt is definitely not a bag I would use for travel…my edc and a change of clothes pretty much fill it to capacity.

KeymasterI’ve been on the fence for the last year or so picking up a Tarah, but I finally got around to it. Great little pack. Lighting in pic makes it look pink, it’s not. Pleasures of being a bag :censored:…

KeymasterFor the gamut I think the load cpacity I can deal with, I’m small so couldn’t take much weight but 22″ vertical as described in the vertx site could eclipse my back! Is this treue?, I’m just 5’6″

KeymasterFinnish Army gas mask bag. They’re really cheap, durable and look good. Great combo overall. Got two of them naturally.

KeymasterJust picked up a new bag. I got a Camelbak Rim Runner 22. I wanted something a little less tactical yet still offered enough cargo capacity and the option to uses either a hydration bladder when hiking or store my Camelbak Chute 1 liter bottle for every day. Here is my new pack with just a few of things I carry in it.
