Is it tomorrow yet? I want my new bags.
ETA: It is, and 2/3 are here. First impressions on the trident are very good. We’ll see what happens when I pack it.

I’m a fan, at least for edc. I don’t think it’ll work as a travel bag, though. Unless I figure out a better way to organize it, there’s a lot of wasted space, which means not too much empty space.I’m definitely keeping it, though. It’s hands down better than the rush 12 for me.
i hate that i can’t customize a commute laptop bag on their site anymore. i had one saved in the exact colors i wanted but now it won’t let me customize one in that style. the classic messenger is the closest i can get, but i liked the wider bottom of the commute.
when i go to customize the classic messenger, every time i change the color of a panel on the lid it changes the color of the actual bag just below that panel. on my original one, the bag itself was straight black and just the 3 panels on the lid were each a different color. the weird thing is my original bag is still saved in the save & share menu below the customize window. if i click on that bag icon it just takes me to a page that says “loading customizer”…but it never loads anything.
I wonder if you could call them and see if there is another way to order exactly what you want. I really like mine.
I can’t speak to the condor or maxped bags that look like that, but the vanquest bag is definitely worth the price.
If you have the same one I am thinking of, I have it as a baby bag as well, it is the fieldline tactical roe sling. It is actually an almost exact knock off of the maxpedition Sitka, not the Vanquest.
