I was perusing Best Buy this evening and came across the coolest little 4 GB USB drive (aka “flash drive”/”jump drive”). I’m normally not impressed by flash drives since they’ve all gotten really inexpensive and have high capacities but I had never come across such an elegant and small form factor that was designed for the keychain. This thing is absolutely tiny and light as a feather. It’s also very sporty and modern looking. The fact that the USB connector swivels out is very convenient as well. It only costs $19 at Best Buy ($10 elsewhere online) and they come in all different colors. I picked up the silver one to compliment my peanut lighter & split pea lighter =)
Of course, I would discourage anyone from permanently storing sensitive data on a keychain device and from expecting something on your keychain to be particularly durable. However, for $19, how can you go wrong?
