:shrug: Does anyone know of a pocket pc with high performance, CF card reading ability and a sharp screen that has software that synchs with the new MS Vista operating system? I was getting excited about buying my first pocket pc– never even owned a pda. I was looking at the HP iPAQ HX4705 and the Dell Axim 51v and reallly looking forward to running my bird watching applications, web updates, emailing, etc., until I saw a review of the Dell saying that it doesn’t synch with Vista.
My current computer would be fine- it would synch with either of those models (after all the necessary software updates), as it runs with Windows XP Home. But I am almost due for a new computer– and that will have Vista in it, I’m sure. What are we to do? There are precious few pocket pc’s to choose from now that have speed, a lot of memory, and have sharp screens. The new smartphones can’t perform well enough in these qualities for my use. Are there any pocket pc’s that allow email and contact synching, etc., with Vista? Are there none out there now that will work with my future new computer?
