Preon P1 clicky fix?

I’ve carried this skinth with a leatherman wave, bit kit, extension, 6ft paracord, and preon p1 now for about 2 years.

I carry a foursevens mini with me too, but love having quick, one hand access to a light via a clicky tailcap.

However, ive always had an issue with the light getting turned on by accident. The tail cap clicky sticks out too far and gets bumped. And I hate needing a light, reaching for it, only to find out the battery is dead. So i tried to come up with a solution…

I took two O-rings that came with the preon and used them as spacers. I used just a touch of lock-tite on the threads, to make sure i didn’t lose the tail cap. So far, after about 2 weeks, no accidental activations and no dead batteries.

I was wondering if anyone else here had found any alternative solutions for this preon clicky issue?
