miss my old 870, 2 3/4 with factoy mag extension and folding. the first item I ever owned that said ‘law enforcement only’. probably back in the 70’s.

The only part on the Hawk shotguns I’ve found to NOT be interchangeable with 870 accessories is the barrel. Don’t quote me on that as the only ones I’ve tried are the mods listed below my picture. Modification may be necessary depending on your wants/needs.
The stock fits with no mods…take the old one off, put the new one on. The forend is where you may/may not do some work, but it’s easy enough. I did absolutely nothing to my forend, and managed (with a little oil, elbow grease, and patience) to slide it over the forend tube…it is a very tight fit, and though it’s not tight enough to deform the tube, I probably could not remove it if I tried. If you think you’ll ever wanna take the forend off again, I’d recommend wrapping a dowel of some sort in a medium-grit sand paper and just taking off the slightest amount of material from the inside of the forend until the fit pleases you.
No pictures right now, but I am haggling with a guy in NC for his Winchester M97 12GA trench gun with bayonet lug.
