So here’s the deal, for years I used a Rick Hinderer Kubaton kit pen; too big, bad balance. Then I bought the shorter barrel making it into what is now sold as the Hinderer Extreme duty pen. I finally found myself using other pens just to avoid unscrewing the cap, screwing it back on the back, using the pen for a couple minutes and then having to reverse the process. (I had the older type with finer, and many more threads, the newer ones are improved.)
About a year ago I switched out to the Hinder investigator pen. I hate to disagree with Yoda, but sometimes size does matter. Even with the o-rings it’s just too small for my comfort.
I see that zero tolerance makes a pen in titanium. Space pen cartridges, so that’s good. Cap, but held on with o-rings instead of threads. Sounds like a win, but I’d like to hear from someone that hopefully has one or has at least handled one. Any thoughts or experience?
Thanks,
Grizz
