I would love to find a good edc light with these features. If you guys could recommend me one I would greatly appreciate it! I am looking for the following features:
1. Tail Switch. On/off, momentary & switch modes from off, see below.
2. Preferably 4 in or smaller in length.
3. Smaller then 1 inch in diameter.
4. At least 300 lm.
5. Sturdy pocket clip.
6. Good, solid construction.
7. Doesn’t matter which battery powers it.
8. Price is not an issue.And probably the most important feature to me: Auto brightest setting from off everytime tail switch is pressed. Couple examples of this are: Streamlight “Ten tap programming” from OFF to High mode with single press, double press to strobe, triple press to low mode. Also a good light with this feature is the new fenix ld22 2015 edition with the new tactical setting, same feature as the streamlight ten tap programming.
The reason why I don’t like the ld22 from Fenix is its too long at 6.1 in. And don’t like streamlights because none of the streamlights are bright enough at the size of around 4 in. The Streamlight Protac HL is nice at 600 LM but the light is too large in diameter and about 5.5 inch in length.
Is there any light out there with these features, or at minimum the auto bright feature? If anyone knows any lights with these features and could recommend me one, that would be beyond awesome!
