I found this multi tool by pure accident looking for new custom made scales for my SwissChamp which never really found anyone that did them and answered back with a email but that is for a different discussion.

So when I found what he created really fascinated me, but when I kept scrolling down I found the combination of tools I had always wished Victorinox created with the metal scales.

So I immediately order it and waited the long wait for it to get here hoping it was a quality piece for $130.00. It was a long 2 plus weeks.

When it did finally come in everything about it with fit and finish immediately looked stellar.

So comparing how the tools snapped into place with my SwissChamp I myself could notice immediately the ALM tool gives a tighter fit to stay in place. It is not dramatic but you can tell the difference when pulling out the tool. When the tool locks into place and snaps back closed.

The tool setup was just what I was wanting for many years to carry on the weekends. Knife, scissors, awl, saw blade, flat head and a flat head Phillips. And I like the fact if a tool breaks I can simply unscrew it and put another one in by buying one from Victorinox for basically not to much and use it as parts.

I would say my only complaint is the owner should work on better communication skills when customers have questions. But maybe that was just a language barrier? Either way I would have no problem recommending someone buy one of these.

And can see myself carrying this piece for many years to come.
