I know this has been touched upon more than a 6 year old at Neverland Ranch but those threads are all pretty old and I know these products get updated.
I’m trying to decide between the Rothco Special Ops tactical and the Condor Summit. A lot of people say they are the exact same but for some reason the majority of the people have the Condor over the Rothco. From studying each product’s description the one major difference I noticed is that while the Condor is stated as being “water resistant” the Rothco states it uses a 3 membrane layer (Like Goretex) and is “Waterproof”
Has anyone psychically had both jackets in hand and can make a call on the differences? And can anyone attest to the claims of waterproofness on the Rothco? I plan on calling them today and seeing if they are affiliated with Condor in anyway. Thanks again for the help.
