Rubber Sheath for my pen.

Hi folks,

I have a Boker .50 Cal pen which I bought a few months ago. I love this pen, it’s the perfect size, width and weight for me. My only problem is that the metal ridges start to dig in and make themselves felt when writing for a long time. I thought that a thin rubber sheath over the ridges would reduce the pressure. I use bike tyre inner tubing for the focus rings on my old camera lenses for this goal which works perfectly as when stretched it’s the perfect amount of cushioning but it’s way too wide for the pen. Does anyone know where I should look to find such a thing for that kind of width? I did try typing ‘rubber sheath’ into ebay. Apparently I am rather naive.
