Ruger LCP ammo?

I just purchased my first hand gun and yes, it is a Ruger LCP. The manual suggests to use only Ruger ammo however, I know that’s not what everyone does. So my question is this — What ammo do you suggest to use based on experience with the gun? I’ve read lots online where people say to only use American made ammunition however, there sure is a lot of other brands out there other than USA made. I guess it doesn’t matter to me where it comes from as long as it has a reputation to be reliable ammo. I’ve read some stories of lots of miss fires and the gun getting jammed and everyone seems to blame it on the ammo. I guess I’m looking to be as safe as possible….I did read the manual, twice.  And I’ve watched lots of YouTube videos.

I know many of you guys on The Forum have used and/or regularly carry an LCP. Any advice at all is greatly appreciated.

Oh, and, where does everyone buy their ammo? Lots of places online sell it.

I live in Orlando so if anyone knows of a range to practice at let me know.
