Having briefly checked I could not find any similar info to what I am about to post.
Apologies in advance if I am duplicating…
I have what I believe to be a Swiss Champ that was some sort of special edition ‘Messer Dolmetsch’ that I have had since 1990. I paid £3 for it!
The main blade was broken, the spring in the scissors had snapped, the toothpick and tweezers were missing, the magnifier had cracked and part of the handle was broken off. It had a hard life.
By chance I found out about a UK company which offer warranty repairs called Burton McCall.
The knife was posted off to them in late November and has been all the way back to Victorinox in Switzerland. It arrived back with me last week… All parts fixed and looking like new.Total cost to me? Zero. Nil. Nada. Nothing. Zilch.
Any UK EDC lovers out there… If your SAK needs a bit of TLC then get in touch with them!
