KeymasterNew EDC Padded Pouch Designs
Since finding Sarma Custom Made on the EDC Forum I have been the proud owner of their Torba Mini EDC Bag. You may have seen my recent post about it …
My new Sarma Custom Made-Torba Mini EDC Bag (in Black) PhotosAlong with the Torba Mini, I also have several of their EDC Padded Pouches that I’d like to share:
(all BLACK)
EDC Organizer Mini pouch — cm 17.5 x 8W x 12H (aprox)
Vertical Documents pouch — cm 13L x 4W x 15.5H (aprox)
(Horizontal) Documents pouch — cm 17.5 x 4W x 12.5H (aprox)These lightly padded MOLLE pouches are made with Sarma’s high quality workmanship, and feature the heavy duty materials one would expect like 1000 denier nylon, 1″ webbing, YKK zippers, Duraflex key holder, in most cases, dual heavy corded zipper pulls, and sturdy snap buttons on the stiff MOLLE straps. The pouches can easily adapt to belt carry if needed by threading the MOLLE straps through the rear PALS to form a belt loop, which works surprisingly well.
First thing you may notice is that they are not plastered with PALS webbing on the exterior…with the exception of the “EDC Organizer Mini” which does have a touch of PALS on the bottom for securing items if needed. I found that this particular pouch works great purposed as a small IFAK using RESCUE ESSENTIALS “Nick Fixer” kit. The quick detachable zipper pouch can be used for storing gloves which is great.
I really like the slick design of these without the external PALS. None of these pouch versions feature external loop Velcro for patches, but could be requested if desired I’m sure.
The proportions of these pouches are deceptively generous and was amazed that an iPhone 6 in a Survivor Summit case fit in both internal sleeves of the Vertical Documents Pouch. Standard Field Notes and 3×5 RITR pads fit with no problem, all with room to spare. The Horizontal Documents Pouch has a nice low profile, but can still fit some bulky items such as hand sanitizer.
They do make many other pouch designs and color choices, some of which I hope to acquire in the near future. Overall, these add on pouches are very useful and well designed pieces from Sarma worth checking out!
Also, if you haven’t noticed, it looks like Sarma Custom Made has their own sub-forum in the newly resurrected Craftman’s Corner. Hopefully it will be a good way to keep up on new projects……

Thanks for looking,
Red FiveI’ll let the photos speak for themselves. I’ve also included some common EDC items for scale reference. On to the Photos….

The EDC Organizer Mini and Vertical Pouch both feature a convenient web grab handle for stand alone use.
Notice the MOLLE spacing is different on the Vertical Documents Pouch (middle). 2 Columnsspacing.
Belt carry is possible with the built in MOLLE straps. Pouches are shown on the 5.11 TDU belt.-Vertical Documents Padded Pouch-
The Vertical Documents Padded Pouch interfaces perfectly with the Torba Mini PALS webbing.
-Horizontal Documents Padded Pouch-

-EDC Organizer Mini Padded Pouch-
The EDC Organizer Mini Padded Pouch works great as a compact IFAK with the RESCUE ESSENTIALS “Nick Fixer” first-aid kit. The internal quick detachable zipper pouch works perfect as a glove holder. (*Flashlight, Sharpie, hand sanitizer, and Israeli Emergency Bandage were added as extras, not part of the “Nick Fixer Kit”.)Thanks for Looking!
