Sawyer water bottle with filter – Happy, but…

So, I got this thing a a few months back, especially for my trip here, to India. Now they have bottled water but I like having options. So it works very well, no issues here, never got sick from it, no weird taste, no leaks if you tighten it well, and flow is excellent if you bring the back flushing thingy with it. I also have a spare Sawyer mini filter, not that it matters.

BUT, I do hate something about it. The filter in the water bottle is the same Sawyer mini btw. What I don’t like is that the threads isn’t compatible with most water bottles, except soda bottles I think. So I’m in my room, and I just want to fill up a bottle with filtered bottle for some reason, I get a second bottle, and HO, it doesn’t fit. Now some of you are going to tell me “Should’ve brought the squeeze bag”, well I don’t have it, especially since it doesn’t come with the bottle, but only with the filter. So what do I want? I’d want at least some adapters for well known cap/thread sizes. Even for people who do bring the bag, I wouldn’t want to hunt for a compatible water bottle.
