KeymasterFirst level boo boo kit. Band aids wipes and pain meds in the small front pocket of my bag easy to access for the little issues. The glucoden is because my wife has fructose malabsorption and this will balance her sugars if she accidentally has something high in fructose

Keymasternylaw, sourcing all of those supplies for a FAK would take 6 months, and it would drive me crazy! I would love to have a medic’s bag like that, but in a duffel style with a shoulder strap, instead of a fanny pack. I’ll have to look around for one.

KeymasterDo you have a text that lists the contents of this kit. Looks like a nice kit to have in vehicle/trailer or home. Was this a kot or Did you assemble it sepretly?

KeymasterAs I was redistributing some nitrile gloves the other day into packs it made me wonder if anyone else does this. I fold up two gloves in each small ziplock (hobby store bags) for storage in various places (FAK, Toolbag, etc)
The reason is because I don’t want contaminants touching other gloves when I go to grab a pair. Also saves time if you need to give a pair to someone 🙂Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

KeymasterDid the EMT thing way back in the late 70’s early 80’s, Was into rock climbing at the time, helped teach mountain rescue and extradition and involved with ski patrol. Did some volunteer work to maintain certification for a while, worked enough car and motorcycle accidents to feel the need to have a more extensive kit in the car. Epipen is prescribed, daughter has shellfish allergy. Combat stuff, because I shoot, and I’m around firearms. Good eye on the H&H, sucking chest wounds suck. Some of the stuff in this kit is above my pay-grade, (suture kit, surgical stapler, Ophthalmoscope) but I often find myself the company of people with those skill sets.

KeymasterMine doesn’t have any logic at all, I just crammed everything I found to be useful in there 😀
So we got :
– About 7 alcohol wipes
– A LOT of band-aids for small cuts
– 4 Gauze pads
– 2 NaCl solutions
– 2 heater pads
– Blister band-aids
– 2 sterile gloves in a seperate bag
– 2 tea thingies I got with an emergency ration, also has 2 or 3 water purification tablets in thereThat’s about it. It fits in my work jacket when at work, or in my bag when on the motorcycle or anywhere else really, it’s not that big.
I’m planning to remove some of the band-aids, there’s too much of them 😀 Replace them with like burn cream, and a lot of other things. I’ll bring it to India this summer, along with a box full of various meds (stomach, pain, allergies, cuts…) -
