KeymasterHi Folks, new to EDCF, am a EMT by trade so these are just 2 small med kits I keep handy. My main medical kits are in my Ambulance bag and rescue jacket. My Medications and scheduled drugs are in 2 seperate bags as well. Will post pics when I have time.
In the first pic the bag has numerous trauma dressings, rescue blankets, IV access equipment and a small invasive kit that I can put in an informal chest drain or a cric with.
The smaller black kit is an IFAK with some NAR products in I got sent by a friend.
I also carry 2 SAM Splints.September 24, 2025 at 10:38 am #22693admin
KeymasterWhat bag is that green bag?
September 24, 2025 at 10:38 am #22694admin
KeymasterIt’s a North American Rescue Combat Casualty Care bag but I stand to correction on the exact name I just know its a NAR product. Got it from a friend who was doing a few odd jobs in Afghanistan awhile ago. Came fully stocked so I just moved a few things around and tailored its contents to more suit my enviroment.

now am not the most experienced when it comes to first aid but I live in the city and 90% of the time am less that 20 minutes from a hospital but with this kit in my bag I have the peace of mind that I can handle most day to day injuries

(2) BurnGel ointment pks
(1) 20$Bandit bandage pack
(6) PAWS Personal Antimicrobial Wipes
(1) Roll (16″) Gorilla Tapeon his website he sells it on its own and in the mk-7 witch is a well built bit of kit if you need a pouch to hold just about anything the mk-7 is it

KeymasterNewest one I am working on and testing out. Its made to go behind an armor plate inside a plate carrier or inside thin pockets of a bag like a plate or hydration pocket. I copied the idea from Phokus Research Group.

KeymasterI made my own , built the bag and then stocked it my self, because most of the non military facs had too much crap you don’t use much and not enough of what you do use imo

KeymasterI will be adding quick clot of some sort but only limited quantity , it’s a bit spend and I got all my supplies bulk so getting 20 cellox or even quick clot sport just put things over budget. I made about 10 or 15 of these for family members vehicles. They paid for them, not that I made much .

KeymasterNice, at the end of the day there is not really a template for the be and end all of FAKs but as long as what you have meets your needs then you’re good to go.
Great setup you have there.

KeymasterThank you as I said it’s large-ish for an EDC, but as I said I carry for a family of 5. At some point I will do some sort of pocket/belt IFAC so I have something on my person in the event (not likely) I don’t have my pack .
