KeymasterI also, like many others, have the Condor Rip-Away EMT stuffed pretty full. For now, I keep it in the main compartment of my backpack. It has a lot of useful items but a little too much for every day carry. Here pretty soon I’m going to downsize it and get the Condor EMT Lite and put it on the outside of my bag to free up some inside space.

KeymasterFAK rides In my maxpedition jumbo versi-pack, it takes up 75% of the main pocket interior space and leaves just enough free room for 2 sets of steel chopsticks, Emergency hot sauce, mechanix gloves and my Surefire p2x fury. It started life as a lifeline 4408 large hardshell first aid kit. I really just wanted the nylon hard shell to fill with my own equipment but I still have the medical tape and nitrile gloves that came with the set. Its pretty tailored to my lifestyle, I mountain bike regularly, Hike every weekend and I work in IT so it does alot of sharp tin/metal cuts from working in computers. My fiance is allergic to fruits in the latex family so I carry a fair bit of Benadryl and an Epi-pen, Gloves are nitrile not latex and the same goes for the bandages where available.

KeymasterThis is the big home kit. It contains basically everything you can think of, big trauma to cough sirup, paracetamol to ms contin and it’s in a big, baby/child proof pelicase. When we go on holidays I don’t do difficult, I just throw this one in the back of the car 😀
[IMG]My bag kit is a whole lot less, but still pretty usefull:
[IMG]ibuprofen
paracetamol
diarrhea tabs
diclofenac
acid reflux tabs
waterproof hansaplast
regular hansaplast
face shield
tiny piece of sam-splint for fingers (jiu-jitsu-wife does need that regular)
afterbite-bug-stuff (nestosyl) (works also for days old, works longer
afterbite (works best directly after being bitten)
DEET 40%
Detol
TeaTree oil
day-lenses
good stainless scissors, not the crappy onesFor big things a TAC-pack with:
gloves,
roll bandage,
gauze,
abdo pad,
N95 resp mask
tape
bandages
occul dressing
CPR microshiled and
2 quick clots.and TK4 tourniquet underneath my organizer, on the outside of my pack
It’s all packed in an old pouch from sennheiser headphones:
[IMG]I also have a 1150 pelicase in the car that has a bit more stuff, but it’s not close by at the moment. And I have a tac-pack in my jacket and another one in my daypack.
I was able to buy the tac-packs at €10 each, which is a steal. So I bought “enough for a while” and paid €80 orso 😀September 24, 2025 at 10:46 am #22794admin
KeymasterHere’s my fak,the pouch is a ITS tactical eta fatboy.
The door thing that folds out has cloth tape, ouchless tape tweezers and some gauze
The ride flap has neosporin and bandaids
the right flap has some bandaids and neosporin
The inside has some big bandaids and alcohol wipes and a non stick pad
There’s some iodine pads in a seperate zip lock so they won’t pop and mess everything up.There a big burn fix dressing,6 inch battle bandage, quick clot gauze, trauma shears, wasp sting stuff and a nar cat tourniquite
The pic won’t work so just imagine the above…
I have my meds in the main compartment of my bag.Tylenol, benadryl, claratin and aleve(didn’t feel like looking at there generic names
That’s it right now,I need to add a smaller burn cream and some asprin.I think that’s all that’s gonna fit in the pouch though lol.
Edit
I’m post 123 lolSeptember 24, 2025 at 10:46 am #22795admin
KeymasterI carry a G17 off body in a JanSport bag… the outer pouch has some trauma equipment… 4″ Israeli bandage, SF tourniquet, QuickClot sponge, kerlix, petroleum gauze for chest wound, small amount of tape, irrigation syringe… EMT shears have replaced the electrician’s scissors

KeymasterI think this is kind of an interesting idea:
[IMG]Can’t bring myself to spend that kind of money when you don’t know how its going to fit/print though. If it’s uncomfortable as hell it wouldn’t be doing you much good.

KeymasterThis is my EDC Backpack/Belt FAK/Survival Kit: set up for people/K9’s
Has enough gear to take care of most incidents while out hiking, at the very least enough to keep someone stable while someone heads for better help. We keep a more comprehensive kit in each vehicle, travel trailer & in the house but they are far to Large and bulky to carry. Ill post pictures of them later this fall once I winterize out vehicle kits. This kit was put together to make backpacking trips (day and over night) safely while keeping weight and contents to a minimum.

KeymasterWell after picking up a few Tazmanian Tiger tactical pouches for other uses. I kind of liked the look, feel and style of one of the pouches and have set it up for use as a FAK. Heres a quick look-see at it.
My Sheers broke the other day so now im looking for a new set. Also need to grab a FAK patch next time im in the city.
Pouch offers multiple carry option and even fits nicely inside my EDC Bag or clips on a belt or Molly system.
Really like these tactical bags from Tazmanian Tiger. Definitly worth a look if your looking for a decent pouch. Lots of different configurations and styles.

KeymasterSince joining the forum, here’s my “one-size fits most” FAK. I’m thinking of swapping out the 6″ Israeli bandage for the 4″ and adding an ACE bandage and finding some moleskin to toss in too. And 2 Z-pak dressings is probably overkill
