Slagged F-701 Innards

Long time lurker, first time posting. I made the unfortunate mistake of forgetting there was a plastic liner inside of the F-701 when I tried to blue the barrel over the kitchen range. I slagged the liner and can’t seem to get the clicky assembly back inside. I managed to salvage the portion that holds the tip in with a hot knife, but for the rest of the liner, the heat melted it in, and I can’t get anything back in. Does anyone have an extra liner or guts to an F-701 laying around? I just got this pen, and I love it, hate to have ruined it so fast.

On a brighter note, the flame bluing seemed to work quite well, gives the barrel a really nice bronze color.
