Smith Model 57….

I have always been a Fan of the .41 Mag. I feel it is the best of both worlds, less recoil than the .44 and argueably equal ballistics in most situations. Sure , in Heavier Bullet weight 240grn plus the .44 pulls ahead. In any case, I had always wanted one , so when I found a Smith Model 57 Mountain Gun I jumped on it. Since mine will be a hunting back up, I wanted it worked over a bit. Starting with getting her Parkerized, then VZ Grips , XS Sights and finally a trigger job. I now have a rugged , accurate, smooth shooting pistol I’ve always wanted. So ladies and gentleman , here are a few pics of my Model 57
